Welcome to Part 3 of our adventures amoung the weird.
Here are a few pieces from the C2YN Space Truckin’ art exhibit. I love quirky, colorful artwork. I paint in a similar fashion, so of course, this style is right up my alley. This was a great way for me to get inspired:
“fiercely going where no man.. : Are those space pants you’re wearing?” – Artist: Linas Garsys © 2014
“Bombs Away” – Artist: Jared Davis © 2014
“La Danza Macabra II“ – Artist: Yar Koporulin © 2014
“Prepared for an Alien Abduction” – Artist: Greg Ferrand © 2013
“Moon Scootin’ Monkey“ – Artist: Jared Davis © 2014

In addition to the paintings, they had album covers on display, which made me very happy. Oh, how I miss album covers – great works of art, in my opinion.
I still play vinyl records. And yes, they do have a warmer sound to them than CDs and MP3s. Some people say there’s not much difference in sound. I say, Piffle! They are simply wrong.
There were also a couple of small boutiques for those of us with small wardrobes (ha!). So, while Z tried on some vintage clothing I took some more pictures.
Now it’s time to mingle a bit and further check out the scene. We found more costumes and more fashion!
The night’s not complete without a drink or two. There were two bars, so that one didn’t have to walk far. Bottoms up!
Stay tuned for Part 4, where we end the night with the Lunar Dance Party.
You can click here for Part 2, where we start off the party with the burlesque show.
In Part 1, the beginning of our day starts with the cherry blossoms.
