Hello, fellow darklings. This is another weekly outfit post providing proof that goths do wear white (sometimes). It’s interesting how I can dress the same way in white and the compliments that I receive are many. So, this week’s theme was black and white.
Day One was a hot and humid day, so the majority of my clothes were white, accented with black. I wore a black sun hat, a perfect way to keep cool in the heat.
Here’s my makeup. Day One is the day I wore the heaviest makeup, even though it was humid. I went with an ’80s vibe to go with the cross earrings and ’80s icon, RuPaul.
On Day Two my sweetie and I were invited to a cookout. I wanted to keep things light and breezy, so I went with white lace and a black, frilly skirt. I kept jewelry to a minimum.
Here’s my face on Day Two. Just a little metallic eye primer, eyeliner, and lipstick. I kept my face minimal and dressed up my dreadlocks with beads.
The weather was gorgeous on Day Three! I think Fall is slowly trying to set in. Okay maybe not yet, but the weather felt more like autumn weather than summer. No complaints from me! My outfit is almost the opposite of Day One: mostly black clothes accented with white.
Here’s my makeup – or lack of makeup. Just eyeliner since I wore my glasses. I was also being lazy. Luckily, my eyeglasses have a touch of bling so not too boring (I hope). You can say my lack of makeup is the opposite of Day One’s heavier makeup.
Well, that’s it for now. I’m thinking of doing outfits of the week posts instead of just one outfit per post. I like showing multiple outfits at once, at least for video. What do you think? Do you prefer viewing one outfit at a time or many? Share in the comments.
Love & Shimmies,
