Makeup Tutorial: Gothic Red Eyeshadow

Hello, lovelies!  Here’s another makeup tutorial, where I demonstrate how I created this look.  This is the makeup that I wore for July’s birthstone, Ruby.  The focus here is the red and black creme eyeshadows.

Here is the list of the makeup that I used.  Since I applied my eye makeup before my foundation, the eye makeup is listed first.  I used Scotch® tape to create the cut-crease eyeshadow.

RED EYESHADOW:  Ben Nye® Lumiere Creme Colour Shadow in Cherry Red

BLACK EYESHADOW:  M.A.C. Paint Pot in Blackground

EYELINER:  M.A.C. Fluidline Gel Liner in Blacktrack

EYESHADOW PENCIL:  L.A. Colors® Jumbo Eye Pencil in Sunglasses

EYEBROW PENCIL:  Ben Nye® Eyeliner Pencil in Espresso

BROWS FILLED IN WITH:  Ben Nye® Cake Eye Liner in Dark Brown

MASCARA:  Maybelline The Colossal Volum Express Mascara in Very Black

FOUNDATION PRIMER: Cinema Secrets® Ultimate Foundation Primer

FOUNDATION: Iman® Second To None Luminous Foundation in Clay 2

LOOSE POWDER:  Iman® Second To None Semi-Loose Powder in Clay Medium

BLUSH:  Ben Nye® Powder Rouge in Flame Red

SETTING SPRAY: Model In A Bottle®

LIP PENCIL: M.A.C. Lip Pencil Liner in Nightmoth

LIPSTICK: Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Fiery

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial.  I plan on trying other colors for more bold looks.  Stay tuned.

Love & Shimmies,

Dasia Denise
