OOTD & Makeup – Basic Goth Face For Winter

This is my outfit and makeup from yesterday.  Not only was it Friday, but most of the snow has melted away since the high temperature was 46° F (~8° C).  Now THAT’S a cold temperature I can deal with.

Since there was very little snow left on the ground I finally got to wear something LONG.  That alone made me happy – I was really getting sick of wearing jeans.  The pants I wore are actually my favorite winter pants.  They’re comfortable and fit me to a T.  This is not an easy feat.  I wear a size X-Large (US Women’s size 12), but I’m also short at 5′ 3″ (160.02 cm) tall.  This can be tricky, because with ready-to-wear clothing, apparently only tall women wear a size X-Large.  So, my issue is usually with length.

These pants were $79 and worth every penny. Yoga tribal pants: Creaturre (Etsy)

Black rose crown: The Magpies River (Etsy), Studded choker: Aeon Leather (Etsy), Tish & Snooky t-shirt: Manic Panic (Ebay), Boots: Fit Flop (brand)

Here’s Friday’s face.  I’m so happy that I can still wear earmuffs while wearing something on my head.  No wind + earmuffs = head decor.  Windy + earmuffs = no head decor. With freezing temps, my head decor would be replaced with a head scarf (and not as cute).  I also included a couple of pics of my “half face”:

TOP PICS: Wearing earmuffs with black rose crown. BOTTOM PICS: My “half face”, where foundation, eyeshadow, and blush were applied at home. The rest was applied on my way to work.
