OOTD & MOTD: Vintage Church Lady

image

Hello, fellow darkings!  Yesterday was a good day – it’s not officially Spring yet, but it was gorgeous outside!  With a high temperature of 78° F (26° C), it felt more like June weather than March.  No complaints from moi.

As you can see, I bought a new hat and yesterday was a great day to wear it. Since wearing a hat with an afro can be difficult, it’s been over 10 years since I’ve last wore one.  I’m very happy to wear hats again.

Here’s my outfit.  I really like this ensemble, even though I look like I stepped out of an old, country church – in 1910.  But I love vintage, even though the clothes are new.

I’m enjoying this beautiful, warm weather but I’m not getting too comfortable; it is still March, after all.  I’ll end with my OOTD video, complete with commentary. Should I leave out commentary in future OOTD videos?  Let me know in the comments.

Love & Shimmies,

Dasia Denise
